Since I have been out of the workforce, I have taken on a more motherly role in the life of my niece Rylie. We see each other daily and have become quite great friends.
I decided being a stay a home mom is so easy. You just give the kid your iphone and keep the cookies and chocolate supply up, and you're golden!
I'm totally joking by the way.
This past week has been filled with sleeping in, playing with children, eating junk food, dying of allergies, getting killer deals at the Loft, and not working out at all. Life is treating me pretty good!
Here's some pics of my life as a stay at home mom:
Rylie needed to carry some balls across the room, and so she just stuffed them down in her dress.
I may or may not have given her cookies for breakfast when I was watching her one morning. Cartoons + Cookies = Fantastic morning.
I am literallly DYING of allergies. I can't breathe AT ALL! I haven't gone running, because every time I go outside I can't breathe! It's driving me nuts!!
One afternoon Rylie decided to play hair salon and do my hair. Like mother, like daughter I guess!
I watched Ry in the car while Katie went into the store. She plopped into the drivers seat and pretended to drive and text. Terrible habits to start at such a young age!!
Dave and I went to the BYU/USU game. I left sad for my aggies and SUPER COLD! Fall is officially here and I am afraid this winter will be a long one! Don't miss Logan one bit.
Last night, Rylie slept over in my room. I was lucky enough to wake up bright and early at 6am to eat cereal and watch cartoons. I told her to smile and this was the face I got. We are NOT morning people over here!
ha. Love this. And sometimes I do feed my kids cookies and candy all day and let them have free range on the ipads. :) We all need a break every once in awhile, right?
